Inexpensive Wedding Favors – Celebration On A Budget

Everyone wants to spend thrift these days. Hard earned monies are just not to be spent out for senseless things, especially with the economic downturn nowadays. It is not bad to spend, just make sure that you are able to control your urges and try to be practical enough to spend on things that matters for the wedding day. Make a checklist of to-buy items and put a tick mark on the priorities so you shall not miss out on buying them first.

Here is a sample list of things to buy for a wedding so you get all you need within your budget limits:

- Bridal gown

- Groom suit

- Rings, coins, and cord

- Flowers and candles

- church reception

- inexpensive wedding favors

Finding gowns are not as easy as it looks, but it is all worth it if you get what you wanted. Groom’s suits are easier to find however, and since they almost look practically the same, it is not much of an issue. Gowns are much harder to look for on a strict budget.

Rings, coins, and cord are the three major items that comprises a wedding ceremony. These are the first buys. It need not be expensive as long as it serves its purpose during the ceremonies. Rings and coins are usually placed on white heart shaped pillows.

Flowers and candles that are used at the altar need not be expensive as well. The white mums are quite fine to line across the aisle where the bride-to-be shall walk. The church will be filled with white colored flowers and they look grand, unknowingly cheaper then it looks.

The church, it usually does not need to be so pricey. Some churches just wanted some donations.

Receptions are usually packed. This is where the biggest chunk of the budget goes to. Food and preparations are all ready. The tables are set for people to sit on. The food is waiting to be served.

And to wrap the day, inexpensive wedding favors are given away to all the guests that shared the special day with you both.

Eco-friendly favors are cheaper yet classy. For some ideas of the wedding favors, here’s some ideas for you to ponder about:

- Paper rose boxes

- Tiny paper bags

- Seed packets

- Paper peony boxes

- Tiny cake in paper boxes

There are many other trinkets to find that are not as pricey as you think and yet good enough. Scented candles are always a good choice. It is classy yet inexpensive enough to fit the budget. You just have to find the right one for your motif. There are wax candles, or gel candles. Scented ones are better. The scent lasts long enough for your guests to enjoy the aroma. Besides you can always use the scented candles at your homes. A good aromatherapy session can be done using those candles. Vanilla is a famous scent. It eases the blood flow. It soothes the tension in your nerves. It helps you relax so you will be able to get a good sense of energy when the big day is over.

Other trinkets as simple as the paper ones can be stylish and nice to give away too. Paper pouches and boxes are quite nice to give too. You can fill each pouches and boxes with scented potpourri and they can be inexpensive wedding favors already. You can actually do it yourself at the comfort of your homes. No need to pay for others to do it for you, it is easy and yet chic.

Last one thing to consider is a thank you card. If all else fails to fit the budget, a simple thank you card with your names and the guests name is good enough to make it as a wedding favor. Your guests will understand and will never look at it otherwise since their presence has already made your day bright and to see you on your special day is enough to brighten theirs as well. Besides you will get to see them again after the big day, since wedding is a start of something new, and as friends you shall always be there for each other, no matter what.
